ARGUS members are the 1st person 'defenders,' it's like playing Rainbow Six 3. Spies are like Sam but they have some differnt moves then Sam. The multiplayer is really balanced, both sides have weapons and gadgets that can attack and counter-attack each other. There are about seven or eight maps to play on. Two spies and two ARGUS members can go head to head in three types of matches (sabatoge, extraction, neutralization). Imagine playing hide-n-go-seek with night vision, guns, and neck snapping abilities.
The multiplayer can be played with a maximum of four people either on XBOX LIVE or SYSTEM LINK. The multiplayer is the most important feautre in this game, without it, I wouldn't give it such a good score. It's the first time I've ever seen a game which incorporates both the stealth aspect and 1st person shooter into one game. SCPT, brings a revolutionary online/system link stealth mulitplayer. But let's be honest, who whisltes? However this is only the 1st player single campaign. I didn't use it much but it's much like Metal Gear's 'knock on wall' move. Sam can also whislte to get a gaurd's attention. A quick 360 turn to pass over open doors or pillars. The new move is called the 'swat turn' which is helpful when it's needed. Even as Sam seemingly gets older with age he can now do a split jump and leap up to higher edges. Along with the new enviornments (jungle, airport, market places) you also have a few new acrobatic moves. I guess it's like getting a kite for you're 8th birthday and then getting a slightly bigger kite with ribbons trailing behind it for your're 9th birtday-sure you have a new kite but one it's nothing that you haven't seen already. It didn't dramatically change the game but it was nothing I didn't see in the first game. The game looks gorgeous from enviornments to backgrounds. ++++Like the first game I was taken away by the lighting effects. I highly recommend buying the Splinter Cell first and then SCPT in order to see my point of view on this game. For a 2004 game, it's pretty impressive, especially if you play it on Xbox One X/Series X, that offer 4K resolution, it's a absolute joy.

Graphics are still awesome til this date, Ubisoft made sure to upgrade lightning, shadow, and weather effects that are now more natural.
If you Im not gonna spoil the story, however, is it so much more tense and more intresting this time thanksfully. AI is also improved a little bit from the predecessor but sometimes they can feel stupid. You think the first game was hard considering the alams? Finally Ubisoft fixed that, you can trigger 3 mistakes without mission failed until the next checkpoints. Some maps have backstories, cool ways to interact with things and how Lambert/Grimsdottir react what you do ingame. and reason to that is the atmosphere and attention to detail that Ubisoft carefully crafted. When we talking about maps, is the strongest side with Pandora Tomorrow compared to entire series, heck, even some of the maps are even better than Chaos Theory. The stealth mechanics are better, since now you have more gadgets to toy with, which also makes it easier to take down enemies and environments on the maps.
